Well, things start to get back to some semblance of normality despite our various governments attempts to keep us all miserable (but only for our own good you understand) We kicked off our Euro tour by starting at the Norton weekend at Yetholm. A good turnout shows we have all been starved of like minded company for too long. The pub done us well and it felt more like the old days, great to see everyone, special mention to Alan Clark who rode up in one shirt from Hull on his ES2 and Russell who at almost 30 years younger made the journey up from Chester on his Donnie, of course the famous Aberdeen "twins" were also there, Bill on his Atlas and Campbell on his Dommie both survived the trip South. Great to see so many camping as well, considering so many were at the 80 mark or older its achievement enough to keep riding old bikes and more so to keep camping, well done to all who attended.
The weekend ran to its normal format, we didn't do the run on Saturday as we had an almost 500 mile run South on the Sunday, both nights were great fun and thanks to our erstwhile secretary David for pulling it all together.
I have to say it was brilliant to see everybody, a great start to our holiday more of which will follow
