Cortez to Dolores

We had to leave Cortez this morning as there were 3000 cyclists decending on town taking part in a several day "ride the rockies" tour. The campsite didn't have room for us so we rode all of 11 miles today to Dolores, the reason we are hanging around here is that tomorrow I'm hoping to visit Colorado Norton Works which is situated in this area. We had a lazy weekend in Cortez mostly trying to find shade from the sun! Dolores is a nice small town so I took some photos to keep you entertained.
Washing "in the field"!

Camping in Cortez, nice bottle of French red to help the pasta go down

A "Not hiding from the sun" moment

These are common motorhomes or "RV"'s here, mental, this one was towing a trailer almost as big as itself. Yesterday I saw one towing a 4x4 pickup with a BMW motorcycle with full luggage in the back of the pickup!

Oor B&B for the night

Belgian influence here?

Just like in the movies

Fiona said she thought her Dad served his time on this!

We may partake of a brew here later

Galloping Goose train, half truck, half train

The explanation

Cops here have zzr1400 Kawasaki's, another cop who is glad they moved from Harleys

And finally my first (I think) photo of a small town American church, a classic in ts own right
