Classic Meeting

Funny how plans change, today we were going to set off for a few days on the bikes but for various reasons we decided to pop along to the Scottish Classic Club meeting at Muckart, great to catch up with loads of people and look at mainly old motorbikes. A grand day out, still on the cool side but no complaints, photos tell the story as always.
Well used (and practical) Interpol
Late T140
Kawasaki Z1000
Still glad I sold mine many years ago but stunning lines
Looks a reasonable buy?
Mk2 made into a Mk1 lookalike, very nice
JPN rep, very tidy
Worth another photo
Big Laverda
KH 400 two stroke
A trio of Italians in various shades of red, could be a book, 3 shades of red, all about Masochism

Huntygowks 2019

A tad wet and cold for this years first meeting of the Tay Valley Norton owners club, our regular visit to the excellent Tullybannocher cafe at Comrie can be a bit wet normally but as we extricate ourselves from a pretty good winter this year the weather has gone backwards a bit along with the temperatures so as I dragged our Nortons out today I knew they'd be needing a good clean when we got back. We encountered Jake and Dennis in a layby at the side of the road so stopped to offer assistance, Jake's exhaust had fallen off his Falcone but it was all in hand so we offered some light hearted abuse instead. Unusually Fiona and I arrived at the cafe first closely followed by Dennis on his AJS  and Jake on the mighty Guzzi. A reasonable turnout for such a dreich day with the surprise of the day being an old school pal I hadn't seen since I left High school, David Ross turned up with Martin on a brace of 961 cafe sports. The roads were greasy and quite dirty and the standard of driving from the obviously retarded car drivers was shocking, obviously Sunday mornings are best left to people who would struggle to pass a cycling proficiency test let alone a car driving test.
A braw day oot as they say in these parts, lets hope the sun creeps out soon and the thermometer starts heading north. Thanks to all that turned up to make it an interesting day.
Clean Nortons ready to go
Jake still smiling after his stop for "adjustments"
Honest, its fine
Nice turnout of old and new
A herd of Nortons
Davids designer seat
Nice Rocket 3
David Ross's 961

OK I'll admit it is pretty
And finally I asked on behalf of a twitter friend Jeff from Canada who has a Hi Rider what peoples opinion was of that model (Tongue in cheek of course)
