We have been blessed with a little bit of good weather, the Huntygowks meeting which is ostensibly based around the first of April has been in the past a mixed bag but normally wet. This year because we lost Tullybanocher (another cafe closed probably never to open again) we had the meeting a week earlier on the last weekend of March at the Horseshoe Cafe just off the A90 Perth to Dundee road. The day before (Saturday) we had heavy rain and winds but the Sunday was brilliant, sunny and mild which brought out a few very polished Commandos. Full marks must go to our secretary David and his wife Anne for bracing the Saturday weather for the run over from the west coast but at least it looks like they had a good run home and even Alex made a slightly later appearance from Edinburgh, well done to all.. Some photos from the day...
BTW, the rolls and tea were good and very reasonable, well worth a stop...
