Well there has been plenty to avoid lately, where do I start? The weather has been changeable to say the least, August in Scotland has been great for the weeds and Midges but not much good for motorcycling. The tourists have been out in force with their motorhomes, caravans and generally shit driving, the roadworks are a joke with Perth Council in particular trying to keep us in our homes due to their roadworks incompetence but at least we have our motorcycles which generally allow us to escape all of these annoying things that the great unwashed and non motorcyclists impose on us.
So although I've started with a moan we have been out enjoying our bikes and getting the miles in, we have been out on "Mismatched" bikes (if there is such a thing) and matched bikes (the same applies) Mainly we have been putting the miles in around Perthshire and adjacent counties which is a tremendous environment to enjoy the great outdoors....at speed (Within the legal environs of course).
We have had the V85's serviced ready for our upcoming Euro trip which as always is an expensive experience but necessary to keep the warranty up so they are ready to go. Fiona has used her YZF750 and is gelling with it and of course we have used our Commando's (a lot)

Over the Bank Holiday weekend we were avoiding the tourists and came across a classic car gathering at Cultybraggan camp, interesting cars but not as good as interesting Bikes, I know nothing about them except they must be expensive so I'll leave it at that
The YZF got an airing, which is good but I struggle to keep up .....

And finally we has a wee run on the two Nortons yesterday and met Ian Coull at the top of Glen Quaich which was good because then there were 3 Commandos and plenty to blether about, we also saw a pair of Golden Eagles (A guy told us what they were) but I didn't have my good eyesight on or a big enough zoom on the camera. A very cool day out.
So thats it, despite my moans we have managed to avoid the tourists mainly, the rain, almost, and found a way around the councils incompetence almost, great fun being a motorcyclist and the good news is that MVD is almost finished (again) after its recent teardown, life is good.
