Sidecar meeting

Normally we are in the south of Ireland at a Norton meeting this weekend but because of different circumstances we couldn't make it and instead traveled up to Dalvaich for Norrie Miltons sidecar do. Great run up on Friday after work with a chippy stop at Comrie and then to Tyndrum and to Taynuilt before working our way down to Dalvaich. Tent up whilst fighting the incredibly aggressive midges and then a couple of beers in the bar before fighting with the midges again, matter of fact they never let up all night! Saturday we got the banter and watched the guys go out on the run whilst waiting for Budge and John to appear, more nonsense talked and then we all came down the road together leaving the sidecar boys to take their share of the midgie bites!! Traffic was busy as I've seen it on the A82, hopefully it calms down over the summer but I doubt it! Hopefully we will get a short video out soon!

Scottish classic club mid month meeting

An additional meeting at Pitcairngreen Inn Last night and since its very local we decided to go, Fi had her first run on The John player for a while and as always managed all its foibles very well, I took the 750 Fastback which seems to be going great as well, hopefully they will be good for the Norton meeting at Aberfoyle next Month. I didn't take enough photos but enjoy what i did take anyway.

Morocco, the movie

A movie we put together after the Morocco trip, its over an hour long so you might get bored but we like it and that's what matters.

And Home

Oh well that was 3800 miles well spent, good roads, good laugh and the bikes performed well, at one point in Morocco the bike was showing 420 miles to a tankful which is my idea of heaven. Feeling a bit tired and a bit spaced out as we come down from Bike lag but thats to be expected. The temperature wasn't in our favour for our last two nights camping at the Guzzi rally, probably a step too far!

As always we met great people and learned a lot of things which is the main point of travelling. Get out there and enjoy it, i'm sure you'd like it, finishing off this trip with a few photos to remind myself (ourselves) of what it was all about. I will write up a full story soon and eventually put it in a tab at the top of this page.
