Van driver and tea maker

So still waiting on the healing of the hand so once again reduced to being the van driver, tea maker and photographer today for the Trial at Drumcarrow in Fife. Getting there was a trial, I took the longer access road which had a sprinkling of snow on a ice base, not good for a rear wheel drive van, eventually despite help from one of our fellow competitors I had to reverse a couple of miles and take the sensible route, at least I had some fun today.
As usual a well organised event with friendly helpful people on hand for encouragement and advice. Looking forward to getting back on a bike again soon, any bike!!!

Mixed weather

So till suffering from injuries so still unable to ride the bike which is a right pain, literally, A week working out and about saw some real changeable weather but at times the sky cleared long enough to marvel at the Scottish scenery. This weekend was the annual Frostbite run so Fiona decided to go along with me following in the van, after 6 miles she rightfully decided to turn back as the snow was starting.
We went down to the Leadburn anyway and despite the snow we were mightily impressed that some of the guys made the effort. The snow was too heavy for the run but a couple of hours spent talking was great anyway.
Motorcycling is a great pursuit, just wish my hand would mend so I can take part again,

Sometimes the weather clears even in winter
